Accomodation in Ho Chi Minh

We stayed at Duc Vuong last week,room was $22US
Fairly new,basic bfast included,free internet,room was smallish but clean,decent bathroom.
Only stayed 1 night as stopover but it was fine.
Street was good,plenty of stalls & restaurants.
Youd probably do better for $30-35 but it was a good mid range choice

In my experience there isn't a HUGE difference between a good $15 hotel and a $35 hotel in Saigon. I have several Saigon choices on the Saigon section of my online guide (see below). Duc Vuong was good,

Excellent location, delightful staff yummy bananas and free internet what more could you ask for. Our second time to HCMC and this is way better than the 4 star we stayed in last time
